01
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit a website. Through Cookies the site can recognise your device and remember your choices, contributing to a better user experience.
Under Swedish law your consent is generally required before Cookies are placed on your device. Exceptions apply for Cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested.
02
How we use cookies
The Site uses Cookies to ensure basic functionality, improve usability and gather anonymous statistics on how visitors use the Site. Cookies are used among other things to remember data you have entered in online forms and to store your language and cookie preferences between visits.
Cookies fall into two categories: persistent cookies and session cookies. The Site uses both types.
A persistent cookie is stored on your device for a longer period. We use persistent cookies to remember your preferences and adapt the Site's content.
A session cookie is stored temporarily and disappears when you end your visit. Session cookies help keep track of login state and form input.
In addition to our own Cookies we use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors use the Site. We have activated IP anonymisation, meaning Google does not associate your full IP address with other data collected. For more information see policies.google.com/privacy.
03
Your consent
When you visit the Site a cookie banner is displayed where you can choose which categories of Cookies you accept. You can at any time open the cookie settings to change or withdraw your consent. For questions, contact us at info@martiq.se.
We obtain your consent before non-essential Cookies are placed on your device. Consent is not required for Cookies strictly necessary for the Site to function.
04
Legal basis
For Cookies strictly necessary for the Site to function, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), combined with the exception from consent in Chapter 9 § 28 LEK. For statistics and other non-essential Cookies, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Chapter 9 § 28 LEK).
05
Transfer to third countries
Through our use of Google Analytics, data collected via Cookies may be transferred to and stored on Google's servers in third countries (outside the EU/EEA). With IP anonymisation enabled, no full IP addresses are processed. Transfers take place with appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.
